I wasn't able to take this washer for a spin, but those who have give it a thumbs up for performance, convenience and price. While a compact, portable washer with a small capacity may not be suitable for everyone, for those with limited space such as tiny apartment or condo, a compact unit may be the only option. Portable also means an easier install and you can wheel it out of sight when not in use.

Based on the traditional top load washer style with an agitator, the Haier offers 4 washing cycles, 3 temperature settings and 3 water-levels, so it has more than the basics and all you really need to do a wash. A capacity of 1.98 cu. ft. (11 lbs) may not seem like much, but the wash tub looks roomy, like it can handle a fair size small load. It has a good spin cycle for best water extraction and that means less drying time. There's even a delay start and reviewers find it has a quiet operation.

On the down side, some have found that they needed to get longer hoses and also recommend a Y-connector to complete the faucet installation. Even with the extra work to install, reviews confirm customers are happy with this washer.
