In order to train your dog, you need to first build trust as well as respect by spending some quality time with him.
Teach him the following basic skills like sitting, standing, bowing, shaking hands and fetching.
Each of these techniques has a specific way to communicate.
For example, in order to teach him to sit, hold a treat in front of his face.
Slowly lift up the treat, and your pet would try to stand up or reach the desired sitting position to get to the treat.
Then gently say 'sit' and when the pet finally does what you want him to do, reward him immediately with his treat.
To take another example, teach him how to bow.
Ensure that he is standing and hold the treat in front of his nose.
Bring it downwards so that his head follows.
Your pet should not lie down during this process.
Once he reaches the desired position, say the word 'bow' and reward him his treat.
