- 1). Turn off your Sony Vaio RG30 and remove the power cable from the back of your PC.
- 2). Remove the side of your computer case. The side is secured by the two screws located on the back of your PC.
- 3). Place your hard drive into an empty hard drive chamber at the front of your case.
- 4). Insert the screws that come with you hard drive into the holes in the mounting bracket.
- 5). Connect a data cable to the back of your hard drive.
- 6). Connect a four-pin power connector to your new hard drive.
- 7). Replace the side of your case and the power cord.
