- 1). Click the "New Game" soccer ball symbol to launch the "Start New Game" wizard if you are using a PC or Mac. Select the "New Game" soccer ball symbol to launch the "Start New Game" wizard with the "Start" button if you are using the Xbox 360 or PSP.
- 2). Choose the countries you want to be a part of the new game. Pick a country in all three categories. Select the "Next>" button to continue.
- 3). Choose the leagues you want to make available for each of the countries. Select "Next>" to continue.
- 4). Choose a start date for each of the countries' teams. Select "Next>" to continue.
- 5). Choose the database size you want for the new game. Select "Medium" as a default setting for the memory available for saving the game on your computer or gaming system. Select "Next>" to continue. Select "Start Game" to continue.
- 6). Choose "Next>" under the "Add Manager" wizard to create your manager's settings for the game.
- 7). Enter a first name for your manager in the "First Name" line. Enter a last name for your manager in the "Last Name" line. Select "Next>" to continue.
- 8). Choose a date of birth for your manager. Select "Next>" to continue.

Select the "Take Control" button in the bottom left corner of the game screen. Select "Confirm" in the bottom left corner to launch your new game. Select the buttons in the top left corner of the screen to view the settings and play the game.
