Hi I'm Elizabeth Fraser of "Girl Gone Raw". I'm a raw food chef and teacher and I show people how to make really delicious food out of really simple ingredients and today we're going to play with delicious ripe mangos and making drinks with them. So I've got a couple of, we're going to make two different drinks. I've got a couple of different mangos and a few other ingredients. So I love to make creamy mango drinks in my blender and this is a Vitamix blender, it's a high speed blender but any blender will do and I love to make tropical drinks. So I've got mango, this is one mango sliced. I've got one cup of cubed pineapple and one orange and this is all going to go into the Vitamix for a delicious fruit smoothie or if you want you could embellish this a little bit and make it into like a pina colada type drink and add a little rum. I'm also going to throw in a pinch of sea salt which kind of brings out that sweetness and some water. So I'm going to do just about a cup of water, pour that in and we're ready for our mango drink number one, tropical smoothie. So plug your ears for a second, this thing is loud, just blend it up until it's smooth and creamy. Um, it smells delicious. I don't know if you can see how yummy that looks but it's divine. So I'm just going to pour some in here and say cheers. So that recipe will serve two large servings or four small ones or if you add rum and ice it will go a little bit further, cheers. Um, I love tropical drinks. So let me pour our the other glass and we'll move on to our second one. I think I have a couple of takers in the room, let's see. So I'm just going to come around and pass these out. Let me grab two more cups for our next round. So I'm just going to rinse out my blender a little bit and next up is our almond milk mango smoothie with a little shredded coconut. So I've got one mango that's been peeled and sliced that's going in the blender. I've got a quarter cup of raw almonds, I'm going to throw that right in there. I've got a quarter cup of shredded coconut and we're going to add a little water. So the almonds give this drink a nice creaminess, nutty flavor. I added about a cup of water to that and we're just going to fire this up until we can't hear the almonds crunching and we'll be good to drink it. This one is kind of fun to look at. It's got little specks from the almonds in it. It's nice and thick. And you could add all kinds of other fruit into this. Mangos are so versatile, so get creative on your own and add all of your own favorite goodies to it. And there's our almond milk mango smoothie.
