How to Make Oreo Turkeys
- 1). Pipe a line of chocolate icing onto one of the Oreos. Squeeze the icing into the gap between the upper and lower halves of the sandwich, so the icing touches the filling of the cookie. Put the icing around half of the cookie perimeters.
- 2). Insert a candy corn into the beginning of the icing line, with the small tip pointing down into the icing. Push the candy corn until it is securely set in the icing. Keep inserting candy corns until you reach the end of the line of icing.
- 3). Lay a second cookie flat on the table and put a small dot of icing on the back edge. Stand the candy corn-filled cookie up on top of the icing dot to make an "L" shape. Lean the cookie shape up against a wall so the vertical cookie has support while the icing underneath dries.
- 4). Put a dab of icing on the cut side of the peanut butter cup and place it icing-side down on top of the horizontal cookie. The wider side of the cup should be flush against the vertical cookie to create the body of the turkey. Let the turkey sit for a few minutes to allow the icing to dry.
- 5). Apply a dot of icing to the underside of a malt ball and place the ball on top of the peanut butter cup body. The ball should be pushed right up against the vertical cookie to make the head of the turkey.
- 6). Cut off the white tip from a candy corn and stick it to the front, middle of the malt ball with a drop of icing to make the beak. Use two drops of icing above the beak to make eyes with a black sprinkle on each drop for pupils.
- 7). Stick a candy corn to either side of the cup body to make wings. Add feet details on the horizontal cookie using yellow icing. Use red icing to make the gobbler under the turkey's beak. Make as many turkeys as you want this way.
