- 1). Wet the rag with diluted bleach. Use plain water to rinse out the dryer's interior. Clean the inside of the dryer and let dry. Wash the filter as well.
- 2). Rinse the interior with water and vinegar.
- 3). Run the dryer on high. Cut an apple and place inside dryer. Leave in dryer with door open for 12 hours.
- 4). Use lemon juice to wipe down the inside walls of the dryer. The lemon juice must be fresh, not from a can or concentrate. Let dry completely.
- 5). Start with a load of white clothes to dry.
