- 1). Turn the power on to the printer. Raise the printer cover and drop the output tray to the lowest possible position.
- 2). Push the "Ink" button. The ink carrier will move to indicate which cartridge is low or empty. Press the "Ink" button again until the carrier moves to the replacement position.
- 3). Lift the cover on the ink cartridge carrier. Pull the ink cartridge out of the carrier and dispose of it or recycle it. Remove the tape from the new cartridge and insert it into the carrier. Press the cover down until it locks in place, securing the cartridge.
- 4). Repeat the replacement process for each empty cartridge. Close the printer cover. Press the "Ink" button and wait while the printer charges the ink cartridges.
